A brand new collaborative project from 2 veteran players premiere on the Embobineuse stage. Crystal Distortion and Monsterfrau reunite to perform excerpts from their latest story blending improvised live rhythms, mind bending motion capture acrobatics, set to video and lighting arrangements.

BAB MARS:

Borne from the underground Free Techno scene as early as the 90’s and active member of the Artists in Action movement, Bab Mars brings us the definitive soul of the old school sound, wrapped in a fresh new jacket.

IXINDAMIX:

Pioneer of the Spiral tribe improvised live techno sound, and founder of the legendary Audiotrix label, Ix is constantly cooking up new variations and ways to bake your bodies and brains with that raw cheeky in your face acid futuristic acid sound.

CULT OF SIGNS :

The graphical wizard behind Spiral Tribe, SP23, Stormcore, and lately the Cult of Signs, the replicating patterns with a pagan twist explore the wisdom of ancients, and propel the findings into our present and future.

Taking care of motion picture eye candy on the night will be VJ’s FEENIX 13 and TOMAGNETIC. Together they will provide a seamless blend of futuristic vector graphics and realistic imagery : FEENIX 13’s work with modernized tribal patterns and hynotic textures beautifully offset by TOMAGNETIC’s photo and video collection highlighting over 20 years of counterculture. Be prepared for a magical journey into the gorgeous, the ugly, the absurd, the sublime, and everything else in between.

Né de la scène underground free techno des les années 90 et un membre active du mouvement « Artiste in Action », bab Mars nous ramène à cet esprit du son old school sous une toute nouvelle forme.
